Praying

A wise man (Dom Chapman) once said,
“Pray as you can, not as you can’t.”
When we gather each Sunday for worship, a big part of what we do is pray. We pray for peace in the world, for peace in our hearts. We pray through song and by attentively listening to God's Word. We pray for the health of creation, for our nation, and the nations of the world. We pray for all who are in need. We also have silent time set aside for reflection and prayer.
Please join us for Sunday worship at 9:30 AM. You are welcome!
Sacred Space
Any place can be sacred, but sometimes it helps to have a place set aside for prayer and reflection. Consider using the side chapels in our sanctuary as a place to pray. In one chapel, there is a Bible and a kneeler. You may wish to explore the Psalms, often called “the prayer book of the Bible”. In the other chapel, there will be chairs for you to sit on while you pray.
